By the way, the 12th and 13th Void's Bane characters went down too quickly and didn't have anything interesting to be worth submitting. Each one died within five minutes of being created. Void's Bane XII died at char lvl 17 from an unforeseen lightning breath. 13th Void's Bane (named as such, actually) died at char lvl 20 also from a lightning breath in the dragons quest.

I took on the house quest in Khazad-Dum, a.k.a., the EvilQuest at char level 33 and completed it successfully at char level 36. Boy, that was one hell of feat to accomplish at such a low level, especially since I'm dealing with monsters that were more than twice my current char level. i.e., Me: lvl 33 (at start) vs. Greater Balrog: lvl 80 (yeah...). I had to fight my way through their summons too, namely Great Wyrms and Greater Demons, who were a bit tedious to deal with. However, what really paved way to my success was the Ring of Flare, which was dropped by a Lesser Balrog during the same quest. After that, I had one less worry to think about and eventually finished the quest. Mission accomplished.

I had 271 HP (beserked) plus 199 AC when the Necromancer did the inevitable. Damn. I've beaten this guy before with Void's Bane I, at around char lvl 35. But, now I can't?! That being said, I'm going to be taking a LONG hiatus from playing anything ToME-related as well as Angband-related. I won't be posting any more dumps to the oook ladder from this point on. I have other things to do in RL right now that have greater importance than this. :/ Thus, Void's Bane XIV will be my last character on the oook ladder.

However, if I actually do come back, I'll know what to do...to bring forth Void's Bane XV, following the trend of accomplishing insane feats, who will be on the same mission as his predecessors,...hence the series of Spectre Troll Sorcerors with the same name. The ultimate goal, of the series as well as my other Sorcerors and ToME-like characters, was to be THE Void's bane and actually succeed in surviving the Void and destroy Melkor forever, which I would like to do someday.
