I must say this 1-day munchkin challenge can be addictive :) Going with Mage this time, for the sustainability of Eat Magic. An It in the Cloning Pits dropped Brand! That high speed, along with my map teleportation trick, allows me to get to Angband at 11:16 AM in the morning! My last character hadn't even finished the Old Castle at this time.

Goal for this character: win by 18:00

Noon update. I'm gotten down 41 levels of Angband in 44 game minutes. The only notable item so far is the Cloak of Mook, which plugs up RChaos. Also, I apparently don't have SI..

Damage output is pretty piddly (186/rnd), despite Fingolfin, Shiva's Boots, and Bando Musha's armor. I will need a lot more before I can take on the Serpent!

Also, have not gotten myself any more high rods since the 3 from Cloning Pits. Those are sustaining my teleporting habits, but won't be enough when I really start chewing through SP by Healing.
