Or should I say Ash Nazg.... Finally got rid of the ring through liberal use of the Ring of Flare. It turns out that with a little luck you only have to spend about 10 turns or so on the final level of Mt Doom. I got in and out of there before the game could crash on me. Now it time tackle Angband. Im a little worried about my line of site blocking abilities though. Staves of Shake just arent reliable enough and I haven't found a single wand of stome prison this whole game. I'm starting to think I would have been better served to skimp a bit on the Magic skill and get enough Prayer to get Stone Prison from Tulkas. I never use all that mana I have. Ah, well. Hindsight :(

Well, stone prison isn't very useful against Morgoth (as you'll hopefully discover), and I think you'll beat Sauron like a rented mule as long as you bring the Anchor.
