That's right - that staff of wish(3) was a game winning find. I went for the armour, boots (bad call in the end, and never found anything better), and a scroll of artifact creation - which I then used on a +3 extra attacks ring. I was disappointed with only getting it to +5 and no speed... but you can't have everything.

Personnaly I prefer not relying on temporary resistance/immunities, I lost some chars this way (you dont always notice when the spell goes of during a battle, and then a lost breath can kill you :-|

?oArtifact Creation never gave me one of these amazing +8 speed AND attack that you sometinmes find :-/

Too bad for the boots ... maybe you'll find Feanor's ;-)
