This is my most successful Dragon possessor yet, the rest having died to stupid mistakes (i.e. not watching the mana and being forced out of the body.) It's also my first successful barehanded Dragon possessor.

My strategy for the Hall of Mandos was as follows: kill something relatively big to level up quickly, scum around vaults for some great equipment and rods (*especially* Perception) and then use a good (x)bow and ego amo to take out and possess either a Great Wyrm (Law, Chaos, or Balance) or a creature who would make this easier. After that, find or summon a lone Great Wyrm of Power, and mob it to death. Repeat until a corpse is left. This only sounds hard until you try it. Afterwards, it's an easy climb up.

I could probably have better spent my skill points, but I'm relatively happy with my choices. I may not be doing too much damage for lower Angband, but my summons do the rest. I also have three level 100+ GWoP companions, which are AWESOME. One of them has 384AC and +54 speed. Not something many characters would want to meet alone in a dark dungeon :).

By the way, my fighting skill isn't normally as good. I am currently under the berserk effect of Hammerhand. Actually I'm errectively permanently under the Berserk effect. I activate it, and hold down 'n' for a loooong time to make sure it sticks around. I'm positive I noticed an improvement in melee combat after I decided to do this!

Anyway, if anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. I haven't been this deep with a character since 2.1.2 over a year ago.
